A campaigner for improved passenger train services in Brigg has been praised by Town Mayor Coun James Truepenny.
Paul Johnson was described as doing "an incredible job" by the town's first citizen.
The Mayor's comment came after Brigg Town Council's monthly meeting had received an extensive report on the work of the Friends of the Brigg & Lincoln Lines over recent weeks.
Despite living in Yorkshire, Paul makes regular visits - by train - to Brigg and works very hard to publicise the Saturdays-only passenger service, plus campaigning for the area near the railway station to be kept tidy and free from fly-tipping and litter.
He also compiles regular updates which are shared with various media outlets, helping to publicise the train service along the Brigg line.
