It's a pity that Humberside Airport does not have direct rail access.....
The rail line is nearby.
This could just be the single boost the airport needs for growth.....the knock-on effect would be an increase in airport-related industries and jobs.
In the meantime, rail passengers have to get off/on at Barnetby....not the greatest metropolis of the region and thereafter rely on taxis....Robin Hood Airport ..ex RAF Finningley...is having a direct road constructed at J3 on the M18....
We work with a lovely lady called Ms Jodie Booth the Transportation Officer for North Lincolnshire Council, I can tell you she is doing he up most in trying to get a station for Humberside Airport, again its down to the powers to be to find the funds.
Your right about Barnetby and the lack of direct public transport to the airport.
