This was the subject of a lengthy recent post on Brigg Blog, you may recall.
North Lincolnshire Council's amended and updated blueprint has now reached the consultation stage, and Brigg Town Council's Planning & Environment Committee, meeting in the Angel Suite, supported the document's extensive and detailed contents.
However, in reference to new homes planned for Brigg, Coun Jane Kitching stressed there needed to be "the infrastructure to cope" including roads and school provision. She pointed out that more people would mean more traffic.

Yep...and an imperative of such infrastructure should include a second road/river crossing.
Barnard Ave is already a pinch point...and any future growth of the town will exacerbate the situation.
In addition...there has been recent political debate of dualling the A15 to Lincoln....this will have a profound effect on the growth of Brigg and traffic volumes.
NLC council should now be planning and seeking government finance..vital...
Don't forget an improved train service and the redevelopment of the Station area which at present is an eyesore and is a disgrace for visitors coming to Brigg by train
