It was good to enjoy a now all-too-rare Saturday night out at a Brigg pub at the weekend.
We spent a few happy hours recalling old times in the Black Bull.
Lee Johnson was his usual entertaining self and we looked back on memorable Brigg nights out long ago, including Millennium Eve 1999 and the aftermath of a Brigg Town FA Vase semi-final win at the Hawthorns which also took place at the Bull.
Cider drinkers may not be aware that they have Thatcher's on tap at this Wrawby Street hostelry. (No links to Lincolnshire's Lady Margaret, as far as we know).
