North Lincolnshire Council has placed £900,000 in its budget with a view to "enhancing" Ancholme Leisure Centre, serving the Brigg area. This was revealed by Town Mayor Councillor Carl Sherwood in his role as the cabinet member overseeing sport and leisure on the unitary authority. The leisure centre was built in the mid-1970s, originally being managed by Glanford Borough Council before passing over to North Lincolnshire in 1996. Brigg Blog will bring you more on this as details are revealed.
