There will be markets and live music to enjoy in Brigg this weekend, which also sees the 75th annual Broughton Show.
Music can be enjoyed at a range of local licensed premises.
Tonight (Friday, July 8) sees a charity event at Brigg & District Servicemen's Club, Coney Court, featuring well-known singer Darren Busby & Friends. Doors open at 7pm.
All proceeds will go to Ward 17 at Scunthorpe General Hospital. Tickets cost £5; call Rob Driscoll on 077072 67585.
The Woolpack will have a karaoke & disco session on Friday (from 8pm). Saturday evening's performer at this Market Place venue is singer Terry Patterson, offering "an evening of 1980s rock and the best of the rest." Admission free.
There will be a disco & karaoke at the Dying Gladiator, Bigby Street, and also music playing at the Black Bull and the Britannia Inn (both on Wrawby Street).
What is billed as a Summer Fayre Market in Brigg town centre on Saturday from 9am will feature food & craft stalls, music and entertainment. It will operate alongside the traditional market offering fruit, veg, flowers and fish.
Broughton Show is coming up on Sunday (July 10) with many people who live outside our neighbouring town flocking to enjoy a wide range of events and entertainment.
It will be held on the Scawby Road Recreation Ground, DN20 0AB, from 9.30am to 5pm. Admission costs £5 for adults (children free).
The line up includes vintage cars, Mr Dan The Circus Man, a Little Enchantments' sing-along with The Snow Sisters, Broughton Scorpion Taekwondo demonstrations, horse and dog show classes, trade and food stands, a range of refreshments and a 'meet & greet' involving alpacas.

There will also be a Make a Scarecrow Festival in Broughton (Friday to Sunday inclusive) with people displaying their creations across the town as part of this fun event for the community organised by their Town Council.
