Domestic property extensions proposed in Brigg, Scawby and Broughton have been approved by local authority planners.
North Lincolnshire Council has granted planning permission to erect a single-storey rear extension, block up a rear window, alter a garage door into a window and make some internal alterations at 23 Poppyfield Way, Brigg,
A delegated assessment report compiled by council staff said: "In conclusion the scale, design and appearance of the extension and the alterations to the garage are acceptable and will not harm the character of the dwelling, the adjacent properties and the street scene."
At 8 Cedar Close, Scawby, permission has been granted to erect a single-storey extension to the rear of the dwelling and to raise the height of the garage to accommodate a part conversion.
Planning permission to demolish a conservatory and erect a single-storey rear extension has been given at 95 South View, Broughton.
The council has also approved plans to construct a balcony off the rear first-floor bedroom at Woodland View, Melton Road, Wrawby.
Neighbouring West Lindsey District Council is now considering a planning application relating to the formation of two commercial fishing ponds on land off Grasby Road, Grasby. This proposed scheme involves the erection of a toilet/reception building, installation of sewage treatment plant and associated access, car parking and landscaping. A public consultation period is now under way on the application.
