BRIGG PEOPLE CAN ENJOY THE LINCOLNSHIRE SHOW 2020 ONLINE - FREE OF CHARGE
Many people living in Brigg and nearby communities are sad that the Coronavirus emergency has led to the cancellation of the Lincolnshire Show which would have been held this month.
But the good news is that we can still enjoy the 2020 event, as the organisers are to stage an online version on Wednesday, June 24, from 9am to 5pm.
It will feature many much-loved features of the show.
Free tickets are now available and you can register through this link...
You will then receive reminders as well as being kept up to date with event news and the show schedule.
The organisers explain: "As one of the county’s flagship events, running for 135 years, we wanted to bring the Lincolnshire Show to you, in a way we’ve never done before.
"The Lincolnshire Show Online will showcase many of the much-loved features, attractions and activities of the traditional Lincolnshire Show, with educational and agricultural content, cookery demonstrations, entertainment, online shopping, exciting exhibitors and more."
In normal times, some companies and organisations from the Brigg area have stands at the show, while tickets for the event are sold at the Buttercross's Tourist Information Centre.
Some of the earlier Lincolnshire Shows were held in Brigg and Scawby.
