It's now seven months since Brigg Blog reported that a town takeaway placed on the property market had been sold.
When it was still operating, Den's chippie, on Glebe Road, was very popular with townsfolk over many years.
However, since the 'sold' sign went up, there's been no sign of the premises reopening, either as a fish & chip establishment or selling some other type of fast food.
We hope it won't be too long before it's back in business.
Many of us will remember when Evy Wojak had a chippie at this location, but that's going back well into the last century.
We can recall calling in occasionally for a bag of chips on Friday nights in the mid-1960s.
