Brigg Blog sends Christmas Day greetings to all our followers living locally, further afield in the UK and abroad.
Some who fall into the latter category are people from the Brigg area who now reside in Australia and New Zealand, where it's the height of summer.
At this time of the year while most of us are taking a break from work, others are unable to do so because of the nature of their employment.
So let's spare a thought for all personnel in the emergency services, medics and those employed in our care homes.
Some local eateries are also serving Christmas dinners today, meaning that rather than putting their feet up and relaxing, the staff will be very busy indeed.
