There's an interesting choice of venue for a health meeting in Brigg this week.
Rather than taking place in the Board Room at Health Place, off Wrawby Road, it will be held at what's described as "Brigg Recreation Centre, Hawthorns, Wrawby Road."
This is the community room at The Rec within the new changing room block.
The meeting of the Clinical Commissioning Group's Governing Body Meeting will take place on Thursday, February 8, starting at 1.30pm. Interested members of the public are welcome to attend.
This will be the 37th Meeting, in Public, of the North Lincolnshire Clinical Commissioning Group Governing Body.
"This is done to promote openness and transparency and encourage public interest in the health care services of North Lincolnshire," says the organisation.
Holding the latest meeting adjoining two housing estates is a welcome move, Brigg Blog suggests. It will be interesting to see the general public's response.
In case you were wondering, the CCG is the National Health Service organisation responsible for designing, developing and buying local health services in the North Lincolnshire area.
Its primary role is to assess the health needs of the North Lincolnshire population and make sure safe, sustainable and high quality health care services are in place.
The community room is located on the right of the Brigg Recreation Ground changing room block. |
