ALAN SHEARER - DEMENTIA, FOOTBALL AND ME TV DOCUMENTARY TONIGHT TO FEATURE GRIMSBY TOWN STAR MATT TEES WHO PLAYED AT BRIGG TOWN FC

Alan Shearer: Dementia, Football And Me - a documentary by the former England, Newcastle United and Blackburn Rovers striker, features a goalscorer who  played some games at Brigg Town's Hawthorns ground.
Alan's thought-provoking film will be shown on BBC One tonight (Sunday, November 12) at 10.30pm.
Among former footballers included in the documentary is Matt Tees who played for Airdre, Grimsby Town (in two spells), Charlton and Luton during the 1960s and early 1970s.
Matt also appeared in Brigg Town colours late in his career, attracting many fans to the Hawthorns to see him in action.
Alan met Matt and his wife May while making the documentary.
Brigg Blog talked to  the couple  some years ago when we went on the same bus trip for a weekend away.
They were on the coach from Grimsby when we boarded at Cary Lane.
Matt was a prolific goalscorer who specialised in spectacular headed goals.
Other players included in the documentary are internationals Jeff Astle, Nobby Stiles and Chris Nicholl whose clubs included Grimsby Town.
Alan - the Match of the Day pundit - is the all-time top goalscorer in Premier League history with 260.
