A new exhibition in Brigg will look at the history of Pingley Camp and the town's Victorian workhouse.
Captivity and Confinement will open at Brigg Heritage Centre on Thursday, September 7.
You can drop in and take a look after that date on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, between 10am and 2pm, and on Saturdays between 10am and 3pm.
The Heritage Centre is located within the Angel building, off the Market Place.
Pingley Camp, off Bigby High Road, housed German and Italian prisoners during the Second World War.
After the ending of hostilities, the huts provided accommodation for agricultural workers.
Brigg Workhouse opened in the 1830s and was located close to where Wrawby Road and Wrawby Street meet.
PICTURED: Pingley Camp buildings just prior and during demolition. Members of Brigg Amateur Social Historians (BASH) were permitted to make an evening tour.
