Brigg Town Football Club have a very important derby game
coming up on Tuesday night (October 7).
The Zebras host Lincoln United at the Hawthorns (7.45pm
KO).
Brigg are not having the best of seasons in the Evo-Stik
League Division One South and lost 7-2 on their visit to Kidsgrove - another of
the lowly teams - yesterday.
Kidsgrove currently prop up the table with 6pts, Market
Drayton being just above them on 7pts and Brigg third from bottom with nine.
These three, battling relegation, have all played 11
games.
Lincoln United are 14th in a league of 22 teams, having
collected 12 points.
There's a long way to go and plenty of opportunity for Brigg
to climb the table.
Lincoln's travelling fans will help swell the gate on Tuesday
night.
Brigg will be keen to improve defensively, having conceded
more goals - 33 - than any other team in the division.
