Many Brigg people load up their cars and off-load waste paper, scrap iron, garden waste and other items in the skips at the recycling centre between Broughton and Wressle.
If you are one of them, please note that work is now under way to refurbish the Broughton Household Recycling
Centre (HRC) and it is closed until Monday, September 22.
The nearest
alternative HRCs are:
- Cottage Beck Road, Scunthorpe DN16 1TS (open 7 days a week 8am – 6pm)
- North Street, Winterton, DN15 9QN (Closed Wednesdays and Thursdays)
The nearest
community recycling centres are:
- Car Park, Old Courts Rd, Brigg, DN20 8JD
- Tesco, Barnard Ave, Brigg, DN20 8AS
- Ancholme Leisure Centre, Scawby Brook, DN20 9JH

North Lincolnshire Council says: "We apologise
