The praiseworthy and extensive treatment of our Brigg pedestrian area by North Lincolnshire Council during the cold snap, to stop us all slipping and sliding on the paving slabs, prompted Ken Harrison to get Stavros, the proprietor of Scalinis chippie, to add a new dimension with a bit of salt-spreading of his own on the snow outside the popular premises in Wrawby Street.
Had the council failed to come up to the mark with spreading the salt/sand, Ken would presumably have posed Stavros with a nice piece of SKATE!
