Brigg Blog has been round the block a few times, as the saying goes.
But we've just observed a first for us.
As we rounded the corner near the Britannia pub we saw someone taking his cycle with him as he visited the public conveniences near East Park, opposite the Monument war memorial.
He wheeled it all the way into the WCs.
We assume he was either in a real hurry to answer a call of nature or was wary of a bike thief taking his treader if he left it propped up outside.

Best to be wary at the best of times but especially as it's the horse fair weekend. You can tell that as only this morning when I walked up street there was horse manure all over outside the woolpack next to the pet stall.... Lovely!
