Brigg Hockey Club is staging a FREE fun day for boys and girls of all ages and abilities and says new starters are welcome.
It will be held on Wednesday, August 17, from 9.30am to 4pm.
Please register between 9.30am and 9.45am – ready for a 10am start.
The venue is Scawby Brook – behind the King William IV pub.
Girls’ and boys’ training (10 to 18) will be held at Brumby Hall, Scunthorpe, on Mondays, from September 5 (6.30pm-7.30pm).

A bit of 'istory, Scribs...King William IV was called the 'Sailor King' - he served in the RN and made popular, such events as Cowes Week.
He was the last of the Hanover line...having no legitimate heirs - although he had about 10 illegitimate kids. (Typical sailor!)
By the time he inherited the throne, he was 64 ...and popped his wellies about six years later in ?1837.
He insisted that he gave the bride away at Nelson's wedding - I think it was Nelson's first wedding to Fanny Nisbet.
