BAG A BARGAIN AT THE NEWEST SHOP IN BRIGG

The latest shop to grace Brigg town centre opened at 1pm yesterday (Friday, October 20).
The Age UK Lindsey charity shop has been fitted out to a high standard in terms of fixtures, fittings and flooring.
Brigg Blog was delighted to be among the guests at the mid-morning launch.
We chatted to former Brigg man Councillor Peter Clark, the Mayor of North Lincolnshire, who had the honour of cutting the ceremonial tape to launch the new venture.
Money raised in the shop goes to help the charity provide a range of services for senior members of the community.
Brigg Town Councillors Ann Eardley, Mike Campion and Penny Smith were in attendance, together with Graham Wilson, from DDM who created the impressive shop unit at 74 Wrawby Street over many months, and Ken Harrison, representing Brigg Matters Magazine.
There's a good range of stock to browse - so pop in and take a look.
You may well bag a bargain or two!
Coun Clark said he was very pleased to be back in his home town and  was at the Mumbai Lounge, on Old Courts Road, last night, hosting a fundraiser for his charity appeal fund.
He shared some memories of Brigg in days gone by with us during our chat.
