PLENTY OF VARIETY ON OFFER IN BRIGG BARS
Brigg & District Servicemen's Club, on Coney Court, hosts an illustrated talk tonight (Tuesday, February 4).
Loretta Rivett will be talking to the Brigg Amateur Social Historians group about Lincolnshire Historical Plants and Their Uses.
The BASH meeting starts at 8pm, everyone is welcome and there's no admission charge or need to book tickets in advance. Everyone is welcome, light refreshments will be served and a raffle held to help with costs.
On Friday (February 7) the Servicemen's Club will be the venue for a charity quiz night organised by the Inner Wheel Club of Brigg in aid of Brigg & District Cancer Support.
This event starts at 5pm and teams of up to five are welcome to take part.
Tickets cost £10, which includes a fish and chip supper. To book your place, call 07812 661312.

Timothy Taylor's Landlord Dark was proving popular with drinkers at the Yarborough Hunt, Bridge Street, at the weekend.
It was good so see hungry customers supporting Andrew Devai's Snack Shack mobile food outlet in the beer garden of the Dying Gladiator, Bigby Street, late on Saturday night. Pay his venture a visit over coming weekends.
