BRIGG CRICKETERS TO HOST BARTON

Promotion-chasing Brigg Town Cricket Club will return to action this weekend.
Town have a home game in Lincolnshire County Cricket League division four tomorrow (Saturday, June 4).
They will be hosting Barton Town 2nds at Brocklesby Park (1.30pm start).
Brigg are currently second in the table behind league newcomers Lindum 3rds, from Lincoln.
Saturday's opponents Barton Town are fifth in the standings.
Meanwhile, building work continues down at Brigg Recreation Ground, where Brigg Town CC are planning to return next season, subject to league approval being forthcoming.
North Lincolnshire Council's expansive project for the Rec, off Wrawby Road, includes providing new changing rooms and all-weather surfaces for various sports. However, the grass cricket square is being retained.
