LATEST BRIGG & WOLDS WARD PLANNING APPROVALS INCLUDE 16M HIGH MAST

Planning permission has been granted for three developments within its Brigg & Wolds Ward by North Lincolnshire Council, including a 16m (52ft) high telecommunications (phone) mast to which local objections were lodged.
The mast and accompanying cabinet at ground level can now be located on a grass verge off Melton Road, Wrawby.
The colour fir-green has been stipulated by the council for this cabinet "in the interest of visual amenity of the area."
Wrawby Parish Council objected to the proposed position near the highway, a footpath, a bus stop and Wrawby Mill which is a listed building.
Six letters of objections were received by the planning authority.
A delegated assessment report prepared by North Lincolnshire Council staff said: "The mast would be sited 330m away from the Wrawby Post Mill and 274m from St Mary’s Church.
"Whilst the mast will be visible from the heritage assets, this will not be appear too large or prominent from Wrawby Post Mill, given the separation distance and slope of the hill."
The report noted the objections and comments received from the parish council and residents.
"This nature of application, however, restricts matters that can be considered by the local planning authority to just siting and appearance," the report added.
ELSHAM: Planning permission has been granted to raise the roof height to create additional living accommodation and associated works at 2 St Marys Lodge, Vicarage Lane.
SAXBY-ALL-SAINTS: Approval has been given to erect a new building for office, workshop and storage (fertiliser/excess grain) near the access road to Field House Farm & Fox Covert Plantation.
Other Brigg & Wolds Ward village-related applications yet to be decided by the council include:
HORKSTOW: Drop kerb and form a driveway in the grounds of a listed building at 37 Horkstow House, Main Street.
BONBY: Erect an agricultural storage building at Bioganix Ltd, Bonby Road.
In adjoining Ferry Ward, permission is being sought for a two-storey rear extension, replacement carport with subterranean vehicle storage, replacement windows and internal alterations at 17 Wychwood, East End, Kirmington.
