Brigg Library, housed on the ground floor of the Angel building in the Market Place, is currently offering the public a click & collect book service.
This was mentioned by Coun Carl Sherwood during the Town Council's latest meeting. He is a member of the cabinet at North Lincolnshire Council, as well as being a member of the town authority.
The Coronavirus emergency has curtailed some local services, events and activities. However, modern technology is being harnessed by the library service.
North Lincolnshire Council says people can use a handy new 'app'.
This allows local folk to turn a phone into their own portable scanning device for books at designated libraries.
To download the new 'app' just search for 'North Lincolnshire Libraries' on your 'app' store of choice.
