BRIGG CARE HOME SEEKS APPROVAL FOR AMENDED EXTENSION

Companies and property owners in Brigg and nearby communities continue to keep North Lincolnshire Council and West Lindsey District planning staff busy with proposals for developments of various kinds being submitted for decisions to be made.
Abbey Village Care Home, on Wrawby Street, Brigg, which was granted planning permission to build an extension last year, has now submitted another application "to marginally increase the footprint of the extension," amend the roof design and "revise the external window and door arrangements."
This follow-up application is now being considered by North Lincolnshire Council, as are the following proposals:
BRIGG: Install a dropped kerb, land adjacent to 26-27 Bigby Road.
ELSHAM: Erect a detached dwelling and detached double garage with office space above, The Old Cottage, 32 Church Street.
WRAWBY: Erect a single-storey rear extension, The Old Orchard, Tunnel Road.
BROUGHTON: Proposed household extension, 57 Estate Avenue.
GREETWELL: Partially render and clad external part of the property and alter the windows, 8 Oak Tree House, Kirton Road.
SCAWBY: Notice of intention to fell a poplar and two ash trees within the village conservation area, land to the rear of 7-9 The Rookery.
West Lindsey District Council is now considering the following applications:
SOUTH KELSEY: Erect one dwelling, land off North End Lane.
GRASBY: Change of use from agricultural building to one dwelling, land at Clixby Top Farm, Wold Lane.
In NORTH KELSEY MOOR, permission has been granted to change the use of land from agriculture to the keeping of horses, including the erection of a stable block and storage building and formation of new access, on land off Grasby Road.
