GOOD NEWS FOR BRIGG & IT WILL COME AS A WELCOME RELIEF
Having already reported the reopening of the Cary Lane public conveniences in Brigg, we can now added the town centre's second set.
North Lincolnshire Council's toilets on East Park, near the Tintab shelter and Monument roundabout, are also open again after being closed for many weeks earlier in the Coronavirus emergency period.
We took these pictures yesterday (Wednesday, July 15).
The return to use of both sets of WCs is a welcome relief for passers-by, shoppers and visiting motorists.
In the latter category are van and lorry drivers passing by on the A18.
The fact that some shops and pubs with toilets have reopened in recent weeks has helped meet 'call of nature' demands.
For some weeks while both sets of public conveniences and most shops were closed, it was difficult to find anywhere to 'go' other than large stores such as Tesco.
