TONIC AWAY WIN FOR BRIGG TOWN FOOTBALL CLUB


Brigg Town Football Club travelled to Nottinghamshire and secured a praiseworthy 1-0 away win at Ollerton last night (Tuesday, March 10). The all-important goal was a late one from Reece Moody.
Having won at home to Retford on Saturday and then again last night, Brigg have moved up to 14th place in ToolStation Northern Counties East Division One and put more daylight between themselves and the relegation zone.
Last night's win took Brigg above Ollerton, and the Zebras are now 14 points clear of second-from-bottom Harrogate Railway, although the Yorkshiremen have played five fewer fixtures. Town also have a much superior goal difference.
