LATEST BRIGG CRIME FIGURES RELEASED BY POLICE
The latest monthly crime figures for Brigg have been released.
The statistics issued through www.police.uk show a sizeable reduction in the total number of crimes.
During the period under review (October 2018) there were 57 recorded in various categories - 11 fewer than during September.
That adds up to fewer than two crimes, on average, each day in October.

Fifteen of October's Brigg crimes took place in, or near, the town centre, while 10 others happened on the Springbank housing estate; the Mill Lane area saw eight crimes and there were five on the Newlands estate.
The area covered by these statistics is a one-mile radius of Brigg town centre, taking in the Waters Edge housing estate (in Broughton) where two crimes were recorded during October.
By way of comparison with the 57 total crimes in Brigg during October 2018, there were 60 in October 2017 and 51 in October 2016.
