A special Christmas meal being laid on for "elderly, isolated and lonely people" in Brigg is already a sell-out success.
Organised by the Brigg Angels Women's Institute, it will be held in the Angel Suite on Friday, December 28, from 3pm.
Brigg Town Council has provided a £475 grant to help with costs.
This will be the third year that the Angels have provided such an event during the season of goodwill.
But this time, rather than a cold carvery being on offer there will be a cooked meal.
Local shops and businesses and volunteers will be giving their support.
