TREAT FOR NATIONAL LOTTERY PLAYERS FROM THE BRIGG AREA
FROM ETHAN THORPE, LINCOLNSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
Lincoln Castle has a special offer for players of the National Lottery.
On 1 April 2015, the new-and-improved Lincoln Castle re-opened its gates following a £22m refurbishment, a project made possible thanks to a £12m donation from the Heritage Lottery Fund.
As a thank you, from Monday 11 to Friday 15 December, National Lottery ticket holders can explore the castle's Medieval Wall Walk free of charge (terms and conditions apply – see notes below).
Jon Hogan, public engagement manager, said: "Over the last few years, Lincoln Castle has been transformed into a world-class visitor attraction.
"The Heritage Lottery Fund played a major role in making that happen, and this is our way of saying thank you."
