We are delighted to report that new facilities provided at Brigg Recreation Ground earlier this year by North Lincolnshire Council are paying off when it comes to people taking up, or returning to, tennis.
Paul Clarkson took to Facebook to reveal: "We've now got nearly 100 members at the new tennis courts at the Recreation ground, Brigg - next to Brigg Town football ground.
"Come and join us. Tennis has taken off in Brigg this year.
"We field two teams in the Gainsborough league. But most of our players are just social players. Cheap way to get fit and meet people. Our half-price membership rates covers seven months."
