WILL NEXT BRIGG MEETING SEE BETTER SUPPORT?

There was an empty public gallery during February's meeting of Brigg Town Council.
Usually at least one or two members of the public attend in the Angel Suite. But not on this occasion.
Perhaps people had looked at the agenda - publicised on Brigg Blog and the council notice board - and realised there was less business than usual for elected members to consider and discuss.
Father Owain Mitchell, the Mayor's Chaplain, occupied one of the public seats but had to leave immediately after leading councillors in prayer at the beginning of the meeting.
And just one seat was taken on the press table, which is not normally the case.
Perhaps there will be a better attendance at the next meeting on Monday, March 27.
Brigg Blog will bring you the full agenda nearer the time.
