CHUCK BERRY REMEMBERED IN BRIGG

Famous musicians of today, The Ruen Brothers - former students of Sir John Nelthorpe School in Brigg - have paid tribute to the legendary Chuck Berry, who has died aged 90.
The Ruen Brothers - Rupert and Henry Stansall - said it was a very sad day and lamented the passing of the man they described as The King of Rock and Roll.
"A huge inspiration to us both," they said.
At Brigg Servicemen's Club on live music nights in the late 1980s, whenever the performers asked the audience to request songs, Brigg punk band The Diseased would call for Chuck Berry favourite Johnny B Good.
