BRIGG COMMUNITY VENUE REFURBISHED

Perhaps you haven't recognised this Brigg community venue from the above picture.
That's hardly surprising, as the inside of St John's Church Hall, on Bigby Street, has been transformed.
God said: "Let there be light; he willed it, and at once there was light." (Genesis 1:3).
The facility is now light and bright inside, with new equipment in the kitchen, including a cooker paid for by Brigg Town Council.
One of the pictures  further down this post shows what's been done to the building.
Above we see Father Owain Mitchell, our Vicar, and the Rev Trudy Hobson, the Curate; below, Brigg Town Mayor Coun Ann Eardley unveiling the plaque at the official opening.

  1. ...and after the official opening there was a buffet...
'Quick, let me have some of that red stew! I am famished.'
Genesis 25-30 (wording varies slightly according to Bible version)....ie'Quick,let me have some of that red lentil soup! I am faint.'
    Anyway, the sarnies were nice.
