RETIRING BRIGG TOWN MAYOR SAYS THANKS

The final duty as Brigg Town Mayor for Coun James Truepenny was to review his year in office.

During the annual meeting of Brigg Town Council, he thanked his Mayoress, the staff of Brigg Town Council and fellow elected representatives for all their support.

It had been “a year of renewal” with some new councillors joining the authority, together with a new Town Clerk.

He had been “out and about” representing Brigg and been to many places in the region not previously visited.

“It’s a fantastic job being Town Mayor of Brigg,” he stressed.
