OLD BRIGG BUS TIMETABLE BRINGS BACK MEMORIES

David Barrett, a retired railway and bus worker from Barnetby, has passed  this timetable from November 1969 to The Brigg Line Group, which campaigns for better public transport.
It shows the 116 bus service from Gainsborough to Brigg, via Kirton  Lindsey.
At the time there was still a seven-day train service operating between these three towns (Saturdays only today, of course). So travellers in the late 1960s were spoilt for choice.
