Brigg Recreation Ground, off Wrawby Road, is about to undergo a long-awaited revamp and there are plans to transform the Millennium Green, on Elwes Street.
We also have the Donkey Field Play Area, of Atherton Way/Almond Grove; the Davy Memorial Playing Field, off King's Avenue; and the so-called Village Green - the tree-lined area off Station Road, known locally as The Paddock, where extensive sapling planting has been carried out. This is particularly popular with dog-walkers and ramblers.
North Lincolnshire Council asks: "Do you regularly make use of our green spaces for riding your bike, going running or walking your dog? Do your children love to play in one of our playgrounds? We want to hear from you!
"Your feedback could help shape the future of our parks and playgrounds and ensure that everyone can make the most out of these brilliant community assets."
The survey will run until Friday 8 January and you can access it now on www.northlincs.gov.uk/current-consultations
Coun Neil Poole (Ridge Ward), Cabinet Member for Neighbourhoods at North Lincolnshire Council, said: “With Kingsway Gardens and Woodlands Crematorium (Scunthorpe) being awarded Green Flag status for the past eight years running, we are truly proud of our parks in North Lincolnshire! The parks are great community spaces and provide a place to meet with friends, to relax or for children to play.
“Whether you and your family have recently made a special trip to Normanby Hall, or you just regularly take your dog for a walk in Central Park, we want to know why you love your local park, or how we might be able to make it even better.”
