BRIGGENSIANS NURSING BIT OF A CUP HANGOVER?

Brigg football team Briggensians FC lost 3-1 to Bruce's Beacon in a Johnstone Insurance Nursing Cup round three tie on Saturday. Neil Gallafent scored the local side's goal.
Beacon are top of division two, while Briggensians play in the third tier of the TSW Printers Scunthorpe and District Football League.
This Saturday (November 22) mid-table Briggensians face only their third league game of the season, hosting second-placed Scotter United Reserves.
Briggensians have won both their league fixtures but some teams in this section have played six or seven matches.
