BRIGG TEAM FINALLY OPENS FOOTBALL LEAGUE PROGRAMME

A Brigg football team will finally start its league programme this weekend - some sides in the T.S.W. Printers Scunthorpe & District competition.having opened theirs back in August!

A run of cup-ties and being without a fixture last Saturday has left Briggensians, based at Sir John Nelthorpe School, without a league outing in division three so far.

That should change on Saturday, November 1 when the Brigg team will be involved in a local derby against Barnetby United Reserves  at the villagers' Silver Street ground.
