Funeral service details have been announced for the Mayoress of Brigg.
Kathryn Kitwood, the wife of Councillor John Kitwood, Town Mayor of Brigg, passed away on April 2, in the care of Lindsey Lodge Hospice, Scunthorpe.
The service will be held at St John the Evangelist Church, Bigby Street, Brigg, at 11.30am on Monday, April 16, followed by committal at Woodlands, Scunthorpe.
Flowers will be accepted or, alternatively, donations in lieu may be sent to the Brigg Town Council Office, Exchange Place, for the benefit of the Brigg Town Mayor’s Appeal Fund.
The proceeds of this fund will be shared between Brigg L.I.V.E.S First Responders and Macmillan Cancer Support, at the end of the Mayoral Year.
