REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY IN BRIGG

Brigg Town Council and all the groups and people involved in organising and supporting Remembrance Sunday's ceremony in the town can feel very proud of their efforts. Many townsfolk attended the service at St John's or went along to watch at The Monument.     The proper term is, 'Parade Marshall' - 'Parade Master' sounds too like a circus, Scribs.

    It was great to see the youngsters in the band. The Air Training Corps who, incidentally, provided the Warrant Officer 'Parade Marshall' were exceptionally smart and well turned out.
    Why is it that decent well adjusted youngsters, who are prepared to make the effort, always fail to get the plaudits they deserve?
