'USING MOBILE GAVE ME CANCER'

Many Brigg people who know Andrew Heath from his time overseeing Piggies Cafe, on the Island Carr Industrial Estate, will be interested to learn that the story of his battle with cancer was given prominent coverage in yesterday's Sunday Mirror.
Andrew, 43, is convinced his mobile phone gave him cancer after using it for up to six hours a day.
He has had to have the entire left side of his mouth rebuilt in five operations after developing a rare cancerous tumour in his jaw.
Andrew's tumour is too rare for doctors to be able to tell for certain whether it was caused through mobile phone use, but he is advising everyone to cut down the amount of time they spend with one clutched to their ear.
