BRIGG COMMUNITY VENUE HIRE CHARGES TO BE LOOKED AT

A small group of councillors has been delegated to look at hire charges for the Angel Suite community venue in Brigg town centre and then report back to Brigg Town Council.
It manages and operates the Suite, which is licensed for events and functions large and small.
At the authority's latest meeting, Coun Carl Sherwood said he thought it  important to have a review - after receiving "detailed figures."
Coun Mike Campion said it was a difficult balancing act between generating income and possibly "driving people away" through increased charges.
He described the Angel Suite as an excellent facility but warned fellow councillors against the danger of "outpricing ourselves."
