Derek Bradley, of Brigg, has now successfully applied to North Lincolnshire Council to re-align windows at 3 Garden Street.
He told council planners in his application: "The property served as an excellent Insurance Broking office for me but now I only use it as a Property Management office.
"It lends itself to a nice ground floor flat close to the amenities of central Brigg.
"We already have the Planning Permission in place.
"I would now like to complete the refurbishment as soon as possible.
"The present frontage is certainly not the best and it is in everyone's interests to improve this.
"I fully support the spirit of Conservation Areas."
