Yesterday's post about the possible removal of what are seen as unnecessary road signs in Brigg generated a good deal of interest.
No doubt those who read it will be keeping a keen eye out for further examples that North Lincolnshire Council may consider when the time comes.
Brigg Blog will be taking a close look at a large sign on the opposite side of the road to the Britannia Inn, near the former courthouse.
We recall eyebrows being raised in the early 1980s when the layout of the lettering seemed to suggest that Wrawby had an airport. Actually, it was pointing the way to Wrawby and also to the Airport at Kirmington - both on the A18.
