BRIGG FIRM SAYS STORAGE CONTAINERS ARE WELL SCREENED

Further information about a planning application submitted by a well-known Brigg business has now been made public by North Lincolnshire Council, ahead of a decision being made.
Thomas Bell And Sons Ltd, of Bigby Road, is seeking approval to retain 5 storage containers on a permanent basis.
A statement sent in support of the application contains photographs.
The statement says that they "clearly show that the existing containers are very well screened by the existing trees/landscaping and due to the fact that they are the same colour and of no greater height than the main building the application feels that they do not create any loss of amenity to adjacent properties."
It adds: "The containers are an important storage area for the effective running of a business which provides much-needed employment and economic support to the area.
"Therefore, it is requested that support be given to our request for a permanent approval of the containers."
