Brigg Town Cricket Club's super season continued yesterday (Saturday, June 4) with a comfortable six-wicket home win over Barton Town 2nds in division four of the Lincolnshire County Cricket League, sponsored by Readers.
Playing at Brocklesby Park, Brigg took only 23.2 overs to dismiss the visitors for 92, before knocking off the required runs in the 32nd over after tea.
Best performers for Brigg were Nick Beacock (four for 33), Phil Dewfall (three for 35) and Mark Dawson (33 not out).
If they can keep up good early season form, Brigg will be on track for promotion.
