We are anticipating Brigg Town cricketers supporting a six-a-side tournament, barbecue and open day to be staged by Brocklesby Park Cricket Club, which is kindly hosting Brigg's home games while Brigg Rec is being refurbished.
The date is Sunday, June 12 (from 2pm) at the picturesque ground on the Earl of Yarborough's estate, not far from Brocklesby Hall and just a couple of miles from Humberside Airport.
Brock Park CC says: "To help raise much-needed funds and the profile of the club, we will be having a six-a-side competion and BBQ. We are combining this with a club open day to promote the club to the locals."
