BRIGG FOOTBALL MATCH IN MEMORY OF 'H'

Howard Stothard - Brigg postal worker, football fan and general sports enthusiast - is to be remembered through a charity football match which will raise funds for research into Pancreatic Cancer.  Known to one and all simply as 'H' he is greatly missed by many, including Brigg Town Councillor Andrew Markham, who has asked Brigg Blog to publicise the game on Sunday, April 21. It is being held at Brigg Town FC - by kind permission of the Zebras. The game will kick off at 6pm, and afterwards there will be a social night, with further fundraising, within the Hawthorns clubhouse. The match will be contested by a Brigg Sugar Factory XI (H's old team) and the All Comers. If you wish to play or offer support, please call 07757620439.
