Lay reader Keith Simpson, who is based in Brigg, led a Service of Prayer and Reflection remembering Queen Elizabeth II.
It was held at All Saints' Church in Cadney yesterday (Sunday, September 18) with people from Brigg joining villagers.
The service concluded with communal singing of the National Anthem - God Save The King.
Keith is pictured prior to the service, which included readings and hymns.
Parts of Cadney Church, which is a grade one listed building, date back to the mid-12th century.
King Stephen reigned from 1135 to 1154 and was succeeded by Henry II until his death in 1189.
Brigg (and some nearby villages) have been without a Church of England vicar since Father Owain Mitchell left to take charge of a parish in the Peak District in January 2020.
