A new property taking shape in Brigg blends in well with a familiar and historic one nearby.
The sizeable detached house, now nearing completion off Wrawby Road, has been given front windows which fit in well with those of the Cemetery Lodge.
The new property enhances the street scene, in our opinion, to use a term borrowed from local government.
The cemetery, established in 1857, was once run by the Wrawby & Brigg Joint Burial Board.
The Victorian era Lodge adjoining the entrance provided residential accommodation, subsequently being extended.
It currently has 'Sold' displayed on an agent's board facing the A18.
